    Exclamation SCSI Help ASAP

Okay, I admit it, I'm a SCSI virgin. Have never setup a computer from scratch with SCSI components. Here's what I got:
    MSI-6195 K7Pro
    Athlon 700
    Voodoo3 3000
    SBLive X-Gamer (aka value)
    3com 3C905C
Adaptec 3950U2B Dual Channel SCSI Card
    18 gig WD Vanta 10K SCA80 interface
    SCA80 to 68-pin adapter from cablestogo http://www.cablestogo.com/product.as...1201&sku=15833
    SCSI cable from Cablestogo http://www.cablestogo.com/product.as...1203&sku=19699

Here is the problem. I can't detect the drive. I haven't a clue what the jumper settings should be. If I even need to set the jumpers, Right now the SCSI ID is 0 which is no jumper. SCSI card ID is 7, the default. The cable has a terminator built on it. SCSI drive spins up but when I go into the SCSI settings by hitting CTRL A it does not find the drive. I am at a loss, any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks
    Tony

i don't think i need help now, I believe the SCA80 adapter I got is not LVD compliant. Oh well, live and learn. I knew setting up a SCSI drive wasn't this hard. Night all
