    Post Printer refuses to print

I have a printer attached to a Dell CPi Notebook and it refuses to print. The printer is definately ok as I have tested it on another machine. Is there any way I can find out if the LPT port is screwed? How about getting into the BIOS of one of these notebooks to check whether it is set to ECP or something else?

A bit of a weak answer (I'm tired) but have you tried another printer (or scanner, etc)?

Does the printer hook up via USB?

BTW, to get into the BIOS, my friend's dell inspiron is F2, but the one you have might be different. But it should say during POST, if not press Escape and you might see some commands.
