Wake-On Lan
Does anybody where to get info on the wake on lan feature available on some nics and workstations ? Also what type of software is required to use this feature.. Thanks

Wake on lan is basically a propriety of Intel. You can do it easily using Intel Manament Cards (attched by network to an intel Server.) a Must is DHCP.
Browse in Intel's Documents and you will shortly find your answers

wouldn't the windows help have some documentation about that? i think it does...2000 listed something about the wake feature when i was trying to enable sharing. the word lan must have told it to list everything related to lans.
