need an old tv out card
My company is going to be pitching a bunch of p133 and p166 computers and I plan on taking quite a few home. One of my projects is going to be to have a network mp3 jukebox plugged into the home stereo that will display on the tv. I have the software and remote control situation worked out. The problem I'm running into is finding a inexpensive tv-out card. Ideally I'm looking for an old PCI 4-8Mb card, but I can't seem to find anything out there. the least expensive option I can find right now is a geforce 2 MX for approx $50 on pricewatch. That seems like a waste of a fairly decent 3d card. I've surfed ebay and checked my favorite online stores. Anyone have any other resources online where I might be able to find such an animal. Surely there have to be some old 8mb all in wonders or tnt cards with TV-out floating around. Can anyone help.
Also I've considered a scan converter, but I want to keep the total costs pretty low - hopefully under $100 bucks. The remote is going to set me back around $50. any help will be appreciated.

You might try calling some local comp shops, especially any that specialize in used parts/computers. We have a place here in Atl called Microseconds that has a bunch of old wierd stuff... Another option might be a traveling computer show, there's ususally a few used/salvage dealers at them also, I'll keep my eye out for ya.....

Keep in mind that whatever card you get is going to need up to date drivers for whatever OS you're proposing to use.

I found the Jaton card mentioned earlier for $28 ($35 including shipping) on yahoo shopping. So I went ahead and ordered it.
The MP3 system will be running win95c and using winamp and a winamp jukebox plugin I found. The only snag I may have is that I may not be able to use a mapped network drive. (The software automatically scans your hard disks and updates the mp3 library.) If a mapped drive doesn't work, I'll just store them locally on a drive on the jukebox which I'll share in 95 so the other computers can access them too.
