[RESOLVED] cdrom

i have an ide cdrom that shows up
in my computer, in device manager

there are no conflicts that i can see

the re error that comes up in device not ready

i have a cd in the cdr

i am running win 95

Bad cd-rom. get a new one.

don't think so

took known good cdrom abd still get same message

once in a while the cd will show up in the cdr and you are able to access it

tried different cables

going from 2nd primary to 1st slave

Is it a CD-ROm of CD-R?? Your message was a little non-descriptive?
