Question EIDE Controller card. New Power Supply?

    Hey guys,
I'm not sure if this topic belongs in this category but I can't find anywhere else to put it . I've got a server case with 11 drive bays. I want to make use of plenty of them. I'm thinking of purchasing an IDE Controller card but would I need a new power supply? I have a 300w PWS now with 3 fans running, 1 cdrom, zip, floppy, 1 hd. Would I need to buy a new power supply to accomidate the 1 hd and 2 cdroms i want to add? Thanks all.

I wouldnt think you'd needa stronger PS, I have an athlon 1ghz/266fsb with 1 main hdd(primany channel),cdrw, dvd,( sec.) and 2 ide raid drives on a compusa 300w PS. My vid card is a voodoo 4500, which doesnt eat as much juice as the geforce cards. If you're truly concerned, get a monitoring software and check your voltages regularly.......
