a friend of mine runs 3 x 400W PSU's on his T-Bird. He has built it in to a server case though.

I hate to admit this but at one point I was running a 235 watt with slotA 700, SCSI Hard drive, IDE hard drive, CD Burner, CD ROM, GeForce2 32 Meg and then all the usual stuff and never had a hiccup. But, that was only for a couple weeks.

I run Athlon T-Bird from 800mhz to 1200mhz in Super Cases with 250watt power supplies with no problems. This includes the many systems I've built with multiple hard drives, CDRWs, and the works. The key is to buy "good" power supplies.

SWEET, thanx ppls, i have 2 good PS's both 250, and one ATX and one AT. i should be upgrading in about a month, with some major case mods, and probably serious overclocking (i like the danger oooooohhhhh lol). ill post to the board as far as the success with the dual PS's. as well there will be a lotta drives in this system, so ill let u all know on the best way to set it up, and perhaps a custom switch.
thanx again!!!
