New WinDrivers Logo!!!!

Everyone (notably Scott), I've got a great idea...I was just looking at the WinDrivers page and the logo looks a bit stale (no offense or anything heh). So I made a brand new logo for the WinDrivers site! It looks a lot cooler than the one you've got now. I used Lucida Sans Unicode, -13% spacing, 127% scaling for the title, and a cool left side blue background with a picture of a CD-ROM (more drivers come on CDROMs these days than floppies) on it. Here it is!

you might have a point with the floppies...

but I think you need a collection of CDs..

not just one.

If so, how does it hold up? very well? good? poor?

Yup, i own a dell inspiron 8000.
PIII 700
192MB RAM
20GIG HDD
8x DVD
32MB Video
14.1" TFT Screen (UXGA, 1400x1050, 140dpi)

Holds up great, been running win2k on it for about a month, not crashed ONCE. Even ru ns WinMe alright!
Also one thing that makes the 8000 unique is the fact it runs 3D Accelerated games (Quake III, Unreal Tournament etc....) sweet

Also, if anyone has a nokia phone and wants that windrivers.com logo i have, email me or reply to this post, and ill see what i can do!

How about if you lose the blue block behind the cd's. I think that would look a little better. Maybe put some tech looking labels on the cd's. You know, a good ol' Sharpie marker hand written description. One could say "Print Drivers", Another one could say "NIC Drivers", etc.... You get the idea.

Just a suggestion.

BTW, did I mention it looks good?

Whoah, Darren, that one is pretty cool too. Is Scott even interested in changing the current logo? Maybe its time for a "New Logo Competition". The winner could get a plug on the main page for a couple days or something. Just a thought. There are a lot of creative people here, it would definitely be fun to watch, maybe people could vote for the winner on the main page.
