Resolved [RESOLVED] help old Packard bell CD-rom problems

This is an old Packard bell legend 20cd with an un known CD-rom.

this is a 66mhz 486. I was cleaning up the PC for my grandma (reformat cleand install). and I won't reconize the CD-rom.

(win98 boot disk can't load a driver for it).

its on master secondary and None on the EIDE in the bios. and it worked before I reformated.

AUto setting dose not detect any thing.

I got drivers from this site and added to the win boot disk but it still can't load the drivers.

it lights up when the oaklyn drivers is trying to load. and the oldest packard bell cd-rom driver (cdmke.sys) dosn't work.

is their any way to get this drive to work, is there a better driver for it?

Master secondary? on a 486? you sure? most 486 only have one ide port. is it some kind of sound card, or add on card it is plugged into?
