What do you use for ripping?
I want to take mp3 and turn them into cd audio files so I can burn them onto a cd and play them in a home cd player. What do you recommend?

Without a doubt, CDEX. It's free and it works great. Get it here: http://www.cdex.n3.net/ - just make sure to stick with version 1.30, as 1.40 is in beta!
