    Post DVD ROM won't "see" my copied data disks.

    My new ASUS E608 DVD ROM won't "see" my old copied back-up data CD-R's. I am using W2k with service pack 1.
    PC.: Intel Pentium 233 MMX ; 64MB RAM.
    Strangely enough, it doesn't mind copied Audio disks.

    its possibly 2 problems that i can think of.

    1. copies were not closed or finished properly

    2. media may not be up to standard

    btw what cd burner are you using
