SQL Server 7 and Windows 2000 Server
Hi All,
I am planning to move a SQL Server 7.0 Database from a NT 4.0 Server to a new one.
My question is what OS should i use on the new server. I was talking to a supplier about this and was told to use 2000 Server, because SQL runs 30% faster on 2000 when compared to NT 4.0
Does anyone have any comments or experiences with 2000/NT and SQL Server 7.0???

I just moved my SQL 7 database to a server running Windows 2000 server and besides a couple glitches, it does seem to run a bit faster than the NT 4.0. <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">
