    Question Power management

    I use both Windows 98 and Windows 2000 (dual-boot). Using Windows 2000 my PC won't swith off automatically, it does using Windows 98, so it's not a bios update issue. Anyone ideas?

    goto the advanced power management tab in the power applet and check the box for advanced power management

    It still may be a bios issue. My sytem would shut down fine in Win98 but not in Win2k. Abit came out with a new bios. And now it powers down fine in Win2k. You have to remember that Win98 and Win2k are very different OSs. Just because it works in one does not mean the same will hold true for the other.
