yet another little problem
ok this time i have every thing working with novell except that i have one user in another office that when people send her an email from outside the company they get back an undeliverable error that says "user is ambiguous" and thats it. Is there a quick fix to this any and all suggestions are welcomed.

This might help. Had this one before. Happened whe I moved a user from one domain to another. This is the fix from Novell's web page.
Fix
There are two possible solutions:
1.Change the user's GWIA alias, if this still fails, change their Groupwise user id.
2.Open a call with Novell Groupwise Support and arrange to send in the Groupwise system primary domain database to be edited for this record. During the time the database is with support, do not make changes to the Groupwise system. With the edited domain database, to a top down rebuilt on the domain, rebuilding the domains from the primary domain down to the secondary domains down to the post offices.
Don't even ask why they call me stressball....

Also have a look here at support.novell.com
Search on the error and have a look at the possible solutions.

Check the GWIA and MTA error logs for any clues as to what could be wrong. I find these logs are very helpful in troubleshooting GroupWise problems on the server side of things. Even if you don't know what they mean, you can do a search at http://www.novell.com/search/support/kb_index.html and get more info and ideas on what to do.
