I would like to permenently remove items from my System tray. I cannot find how to do this in the help files. I am running Win ME.

You can do that from the registry, but first the esaiest way. From Start, select Run and type msconfig. Select Startup tab and uncheck the program that is shown in the tray and you wish to remove; if you want it back you can check it again later. Click OK and exit.
