[RESOLVED] CDROM driver for Compaq Armada 7360DMT

After installing W98 my cdrom drive which swaps out with the diskette drive doesn´t work properly.
The system is unable to find it and even it doesn´t appear when I look for it.
It seems that the driver is wrong or dissapeared.
Can anybody help me?
I can't use either the cd-rom or the diskette drive.
I´ve visited several times the Compaq site and many forums but maybe I´m quite a slow.

First thing to do would be check your Config.Sys file to see if your driver *.sys file for the cd rom has been rem'd out, the check the Autoexec.bat file and see if the line with Mscdex was also Rem'd out.

Make sure the cd rom is fully seated in it's slot.

Then if all else fails check here for updates for your laptop.
