I Finally got a decent puter...
Well my income tax check came today finally.... not tons of money but a nice little bit to spend.... I really needed a batter comp... i have been running on a old p 100 that i made an AMD 200 48 meg 1 gig...
my other one was better but it kicked the can.... amd 233 96 meg 6 gig....
well heres the new low down. let me know what you think..

did i get a good deal... I know i could have put a new one together. but i have been living with my old crapper for so long that i saw this deal about 40 miles away and had to get it.. I think that i got some good stuff... plus i made a new friend out of the deal too. i spent about 2 hours on the horn with the guy and about 3 hours at his house shooting the breeze....

Looks good to me CMT, the only thing I see that sticks out is the 16mb vid card but you'll be alright if you're not a gamer.
Where have you been? Haven't seen you in the chat room lately.

not bad, (depending on price, don't bother quoting me I'm in australia) don't know about the printer though. If you can get one of the S400 or S800's it would probably be better though.

my old video card was a 1 megger. long as it can display 16 bit I am happy... well i guess i had a 4 meg too... i am in my glory with the 16.... ha ha. sad huh

not bad,. i could be happy with that. compared to some of the junk ive used over the years, its a down right marvel,. i know how you feel,. woohoo! new electrons to burn

Happy for ya. I just noticed your'e not too far away from me. I spend time in Cook's forest when I can and my family was from Brookevile. I live in NY now fairly large town and cant get cable modem here at all yet. Anyway good luck with your new puter.

Cool, My family is originally from Brookville but have been to Punxy on many ocassions, went to see Phil a couple of times in my misspent youth. Funny thing I dont remember if I saw my shadow or not.(LOL).Anyway Im about 70 miles from Punxy.
