    Resolved [RESOLVED] Install OS after fdisk?

    Exactly how do I install win98 on new HD?
    FDISK & FORMAT complete. All drives (A,C &D)
    active but I cant seem to get windows loaded.

    1st you will need the DOS Cd-Rom driver installed. If you have a Windows 98 setup disk, the drivers are provided. Pop the setup disk into the A: drive, the CD into the CD-Rom drive, reboot and you're on your way, just follow the on screen directions. If you don't have a Win98 setup disk, download a universal CDROM driver like the one at http://www.jtech.net/~cdrom/index.html

    After you have the CD drive accessable, switch to it by typing d: and press the enter key then type setup and press the enter key.

    Note: Cdrom drive might be d: or e: or some other drive letter, watch the monitor during bootup.
