i remote manage another user's desktop flawlessly, but when i try to send a file remotely...it takes forever.....10-15secs for a 900kb file.
both systems are using a cable modem one pc is a 450 with 256mb memory and the other is an 866 with 256mb of memory

Well the key thing to remember is that just because you're doing remote control doesnt mean that the speed will be 100% of normal. Things like these depend on latency and bandwidth. If the cable system is experiencing a slowdown, you will too. Also, the control session eats up ALOT of bandwidth, esp. if you have like a 1024x768 desktop res.

very true, but the remote session runs fluid..not one ounce of choppiness....it just resides within the sending files to messenger contacts
