    My interview results:

well, I'd say that the interview went rather well. I stayed calm, allthough I think my voice had a bit of a tremor in it.

Anyway, I was interviewed by a panel of:
    • all three administrators and the principals secretary
    • the district computer tech for the school,
    • the English teacher who oversees the lab and
    • the applied technology cordinator

The principal asked the questions while the rest took notes on my responses.

The questions from what I remember were:
    • what software do you know?
    • a computer won't power on, what would you do?
    • computers are locking up or the log into the network what would you do?
    • You catch a student viewing inappropriate content, what would you do?
    • a student is being unruly or obnoxious what would you do?
    • when can you start?

before I write what I said, I am kinda interested in how you guys would answer these questions..
May the Schwartz be with you
Too many zeros, not enough ones.

    1. I know every porn down loader this side of the Rio Grande.

Actually, I would have a copy of my resume beside me, as I keep all that relavent information in there. So I could spout it out without having to think about it. I always take a binder, open it with notepad on oneside and several copies of my resume on another.

    2. Check the plugs(back of pc), check the surge protector, check the power button, get a big hammer

    3. That is a very generic question, I would try to see if there are any error messages related. Try to find out the whole story, then if no mesages that I can find, go through and check the lines. Then blah, blah, blah, blah

    4. Make sure that I haven't seen it before, ask him to remove it, and report him

    5. Smack up side da head, then report him

    6. When you gonna get off my back?

    hummm lets see

1: do i really need to list them ... here it goes
    -Microsoft Windows 3.1+
    -Microsoft office
    -IIS
-Macromedia Studio 3, 4 and MX (Dreamweaver, flash, fireworks, etc..)
-Norton anti virus, mcaffee anti virus
    -winzip, ac, winrar..
-Adobe illustrator, photoshop, reader, adobe acrobat
-basicly anything you can throw at me...

2: power wont turn on?.. id check the power cord to see if its pluged in, if it is, id check the power strip if it is hooked into one, then if all else fails id like to open the computer and get durty. checking all the conenctions and make sure the PSU is seeed on the mobo correctly

3: If this is a windows 2000 or windows xp machine, id login with the same accoutn seeing if it locks up, if so then id reboot and try logining into another account.. more likely the admin account and see if it locks up on me, if so then id see if it locks up right when I login or if its somthing I do. If its when I log in, id like to reinstal lwindows ontop saving everything on it.. but back it up first, then get the latest updates from microsoft. if it is still freezing up id like to see if there is a new bios update.. thius can go on and on trying to figure it out.. Unless im really there

4: If I see the studnet looking at somthing he should not be, id go over there and tell him to get off calmly and then close what he was looking at and report him tothe right person

5: I would not allow him to get on the system and I would contact or get the proper authority

6: depends how much you will pay me

for question # 2 the first thing to check is the voltage setting on the back of the power supply. we get machines in the shop here every once in a while that don't power up. set the power supply to 115 and all is well.
