    BIOS BMP Logo

    Hi,

I have just got a new motherboard (Aopen MX36-LE) and was prretty impressed on how they had put a banner type thing down the side of the POST, And I saw a option on the BIOS to turn this on or off. Is there any way to make my own BMP for the BIOS, and possible make it full screen?

    Thanks

Frankly I wouldn't mess with it. The bios is something that should be used for fuctional purposes only, not decorative ones. You only see it for a second anyway, so what's the big deal?

The last time I played with the bios it cost me $65.00 (for a new one) and the computer was completely out of commission for about 9 days.

You don't know how much you depend on your computer until its out for 9 days.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I know Asus does have this utility, Wincrash I don't think Aopen does, but it might be worth reading the manual to check - there is no mention of it on the specs page

I knew of a person that tried it with an ASUS mobo and ended up ruining the BIOS. Something to do with the specific image file size that caused the BIOS to go crazy. Definitely read the manual to make sure.

    Good Luck!
