Via rebadgeing kt400's as kt333's
Is this rumour true? And if so how do you tell which are genuine kt333's and which arnt, does anyone know if any mobo manufac's are objecting to this?

Same methods as any other 'WTF is this m/b' game...
Bios strings - could be faked...
North & Southbridge chips -usually tells you, though get that tipex.....
Utility to identify- reads bios info though...
I suppose if you really tried you could re-brand and hide it but that sounds more trouble than its worth, you could fix 'em to be kt333 but then why not sell them as that ?

yeah I just heard a rumor on another forum that this was going on and that kt400's were not as good as 333's but I dont think this is true. I shouldnt listen to wild rumours
