outlook express

Hello All,

After i receive an mail subject Congratulation in the outlook express,i won't be able to delete or view the mail. It will hand ang error message :

Msimn
This program ha perform an illegal operation and will be shut down .
If the problem persists, contact the program vendor.

MSIMN cause an invalid page fault in module INETCOMM.DLL at 015f:7d5fabaf.

Action taken:
I use Mcafee ver5.1 with the latest superdat files and also use Norton antivirus to scan.It says that no virus found.
Any suggestion.

Which version of Outlook Express are you using? It is usually decided by which version of Internet Explorer you're running...if you have IE 5.0, then OE should be 5.0 also.

I believe the msimn file is what actually lauches the OE application. If you're having problems with it, you might need to reinstall or repair IE. Or, you might try updating to the latest version: 6.0... if you're running something lower.

What windows version would also be useful.. that error seems to be tied to either the happy virus or older versions.

It may be that you had happy, but nav killed it but it still may have altered some files.
