Startup edit
Hi,
I have some programs which start up in my systray when computer loads into xp. I don’t want them to load and would like to know what the command (in start>run) is for the .txt (I think it was txt) to where I can delete the path of the programs. I know about MSCONFIG, but that is not what I’m looking for. I remember typing in a command to edit the actual “string” commands for load up but forgot what it was. Anyone know what it is (I’m sure most of u do)? Or any other way to do it in XP? Thanks

Look on the net for a program called "Start Up Control Panel" Written by Mike Lin. Pretty dandy little program. Might be what you need.

I am curious as to why you don't want to use msconfig but here is a registry edit. http://www.winguides.com/registry/display.php/109/
