[RESOLVED] PB-Pack Mate 7900

I'm no techy, but thought I would try out this site for some assistance! I have a PB-Pack-Mate 7900. Recently purchased WIN98 SE, and have had problems with connectivity with Modem. Have tried almost everything (again, i'm no techy). Called MS, and they could only suggest purchasing drivers for my modem because they do not support drivers for Packard Bell. Problem is I don't know what Modem is in this dawn thing; therefore, can't download any drivers. It seems that when I re-install Win95 using the Master CD, in the Device Mgr., it states that my modem is a sound4 winmodem. After installing WIN 98, it disconnects it and states that "can't find winmodem.VxD and lists a "3Com ??????TI" in Modem Properties.
I would be grateful if anyone help this non-techy person!

Modem is a combo of fax,sound and I think voice.

What you're going to have to do is unplug everything from the back of your computer, unscrew the cover, and look at the modem inside to determine what make and model it is. Look especially at the largest chip on the modem - what is written on it? Is there anything else written on the top edge or back of the modem card? Post that information here and we can probably find you the right drivers.

Thank you for your reply.....I opened the back and looked at the Modem and got the following set of numbers:

TI-03 (side with the chips)
1508011 and 050-516925-405 (on the other side)

On the sku ANSC 73344180 030293 (made in Indonesia).
