i/o setting when installing CD-Rom on sound card
The Aztec sound card mmsn824 also has a CD-Rom controller. THe card is installed properly. When I go to install the CD-Rom driver, the install program asks me for the I/O address of the sound card. Are they talking about the CD-ROM connection.. Help, I have no clue what the hell is going on?

they are looking for the address of the sound card, you have probably seen it somewhere, the typical settings are I\O address 220, irq 5, dma 1, but with PNP cards sometimes it is sometimes it isn't. Right click on "my computer" go to "properties", then "device manager, go down list to sound, video, game controllers, click it to open look for the main sound card one and double click it or do properties on it. Go to resources it will tell you what its set for.
