Futura LD7 Monitor
I was given a Futura LD7 monitor. I cannot get 256 colors or high color. Where did I go wrong? What do I need?

Your monitor isn't the problem, it's your video card (the thing your monitor plugs into on your computer). You need to get the right drivers for your video card in order to make full use of it's features (like more colors for example)
Do you know what video card you have, or what kind of computer do you have (Manufacturer and model)?

It sounds like you have a custom built PC. The only way you're going to be able to figure out what video card you have is to unplug everything from your computer, open the cover, and look at the actual video card inside. Go to http://www.windrivers.com/identity/video/index.htm and use this as a reference. Usually the largest chip on the video card has the indentity information you need, but also look else where for any mention of manufacturer, model number, etc. The more info you can give us, the better chance we can identify your card and point you to the right drivers.
Also, we need to know what operating system version you are running.

That card is more formally known as the Diamond Stealth 3D 4000. You can get your drivers, manuals, software, etc, here:
