green bars and BSOD at Boot, win98SE
[FONT=Arial Black][SIZE=7][COLOR=Black]
green bars at top of Monitor and BSOD at Boot, win98SE. AMD 900, 500M ram, More often with cold boot and it comes and goes. Done the video and all drivers routine. I can not place exactly when it started or what software was added or removed. Been hunting on the net but no help. I do recall a thread that recognized and presented a fix about a year ago some place some where. Anyone with an answer? thanks

Did you replace the video hardware or just the driver? Is there onboard video at all? have you tested the RAM?

Meatwad's shooting straight here. Sure sounds like video RAM to me. If its a card, you need a new vid card. If its onboard that shares system memory, you got some bad RAM.
Giving us the text of the BSOD would help, too
