    video card with cirrus chip

    I just bought a program that requires 16 bit color. All I can find on my computer is 256 colors and 16 colors. How do I upgrade to get 16 bit colors?

    look at the video card and see what the chip says for a number, then come back here or go to the cirrus logic website and get the right driver for it, instead of the generic one windows probably put in. Some older cards can't do more than 256 tho in 95\98 because there is no specific driver available.
