    Spec for Future Domain IDE-16010?

    Hello...

I had posted this message in the Hard DRive/IDE/SCSI COntroller Drivers discussion group with no response and was hoping someone might happen to know the specs on this board:

I'm working with an old system and came across this board. The FCC ID is HK9224IDE16000, which is a Future Domain (Adaptec) board. Adaptec has absolutely no specs on this on their Internet site. Somewhere on the Internet someone indicated this was a Future Domain IDE-16010. From what came with the card, it appears this may be an IDE CD-ROM drive interface, although I'm wondering if it may be for one of the early proprietary CD-ROM drive (Panasonic, Mitsumi). Can anyone confirm my identification? Does it take any special software to use this card?

Ever need to find out who's motherboard, monitor or soundcard you're working
with or if it can be upgraded, you can by getting the fcc id and go to the
    following site:

    equipment after 98 - http://www.fcc.gov/fcc-bin/ead
    before 98 - http://www.fcc.gov/oet/fccid

    Hope this helps (-:

I know which card you mean. I'm afraid i might have lost the drivers, but i can give you some information.

You can use this card as a secundary ide controller. It supports standard cd-drives and harddrives.

If you are interested in the drivers, mail to [email protected], and i'll look if i can find them.
