[RESOLVED] EMAIL NOTIFICATION
Hi all...is there any way to have an email notification when you're surfing the net but don't have outlook express open...I know how to change the .wav file but it only notifies me when i open it...if I keep it open it uses alot of system performance and along with ZoneAlarm and McAfee Virus I end up with 58 percent performance before I even do anything.............. <IMG SRC="smilies/frown.gif" border="0"> P.S. Installing more ram didn't make any difference..it's a pain to have to keep re-booting all the time...

Outlook Express won't do this by itself. I have tried lots of third party POP notifiers, and I like Poppy the best.
Give it a try here: http://www.yoursurfice.com/Content/Poppy/Poppy.htm
It's a tiny icon that sits in your tray and can check multiple accounts at time intervals you specify. Highly configurable and doesn't suck up all your RAM.

A lot of the messanging services, like ICQ (**shudder**), will do this for you as well, so if you're already running one of those, have a look.
