favorites in start

Whenever I click on "start", favorities and pick a site I go no where. Most do not work others do.
However when i open my browers and click on favorites I can select any, and go from there.
note- I have clicked on my brower and minimized it
and gone thur start, favorites, still the same problem

I want you to try this one:

Delete all Temporary Internet Files. Then open the IE and see if they still work.

I believe that Internet Explorer is supposed to be open in order for you to go anywhere.

If this is not the case I would ask you if you have changed the registry settings lately. Are you using a current registry or have you have had to replace it?

Or if not, have you added any internet speedup software like IBOOST, Tweak.dun, or Turbo-Surfer. These can change your internet settings so you can't use them until you update the settings according to their instructions.
