[RESOLVED] Printer folder virus?
I have seen 6 win98se computers on the same win2000 network and 1 isolated computer (also win98se) do this.
The printer folder will not appear when executing Start - Settings - Printers.
You can access the folder from my computer but there are no printers in it.
System also seems to hang when you get to this screen.
I have run the most recent McAfee virus scan with no luck.
I have repaired 4 of these machines by wiping out the harddrive and reloading. Reinstalling windows does not work. One machine appears to have fixed itself after about 48 hours. It also seems that when one machine is fixed it moves to another machine.
Anyone have any ideas?

Try the PcCillin housecall virus scan online, it's free and a check with the latest virus patterns as well as a different scan engine and might pick up someting that McAfee didn't.

Good Luck
