This is part of the windows functionality to support the avance 97 driver.

In device manager, in the properties for the microsoft kernel wave audio mixer, what is the error code and what does it say to do about it?

The usual fix is to uninstall it then restart the machine and let it try and install itself properly again.

    Error code 39 means

Reasons for this error include a driver that is not present; a binary file that is corrupt; a file I/O problem, or a driver that references an entry point in another binary file that could not be loaded.

Uninstall the driver, and then click Scan for hardware changes to reinstall or upgrade the driver.

On the General Properties tab of the device, click Troubleshoot to start the troubleshooting wizard.

Therefore you need to check for a bios update and for a driver update at Tyan.
