Hang in there, it's times like these which help us appreciate the humdrum, boring days.
I sympathize with your sleep problems. Having worked graveyard shift for 19 years, I know how important getting good sleep is. One thing which comes to mind is the position you sleep in, i.e. on your side, flat on your back or on your tummy. I resolved a lot of my sleep deprivation problems by sleeping on my side and stuffing a pillow under my lower back, for support and to keep me from flopping back over on my back. The missus insists it also keeps me from snoring like a freight train.
Finally, the quality of your matress is very important. If you can, invest in a high quality matress set. Go test drive some at a mattress store and find the type most comfortable for you. It has made a world of difference for us.
I didn't surrender, but they took my horse and made him surrender. They have him pulling a wagon up in Kansas I bet.
