    Question regedit and IE5

I want to remove the connections tab from internet options...or just disable the "lan settings" button.

    Any ideas?

Why would you want to do that?
You can put a check in the automatically detect settings to not deal with settings.

Two thoughts. Don't need to use it hardly at all but I think Poledit (policy editor) might be of help. Second, not to flame or anything but damn, if my kids went to that much effort to undermine my expectation of proper usage, I'd just yank the computer priviledges until and if they could prove themselves more deserving....

Policy editor won't let you limit anything in Internet Explorer so I guess I'd have to agree with Sowulo...I have twin nine y.o. boys. If they mess with the machine ,they don't use it. If your still intent on finding a way to hack your registry, register at

and see if someone there knows a hack.
