[RESOLVED] fatal eception error

Yes I have a compaq laptop and its locks up sometime by giving me a message Fatal Eception OE has occured@ 0137:BFF9A07C. I have to shutdown my computer and start it up again.This does this quite often Any suggestion on how to correct thit problem.

Have you tried to reinstall Windows? What about the Device Manager?
You must verify everything is ok. Go to Control Panel and double click
System. Then select Device Manager. Look carefully for IRQ conflicts or
devices that aren't working properly. If you see a red questionmark (?) or a
yellow explanation mark (!), it means something is going wrong with that
particular device. You may have to remove it and reboot the machine, so
Windows will detect it and install it properly.
What about antivirus? Have you checked your machine for viruses recently?
