How to wire a RJ11 Keystone Jack for residential use???

Hi all -

I'm using levitron keystone jacks in my house where I need to have network + phone. I've found plenty of documentation on how to wire the RJ45s for network use (not to mention the handy color coding on the sides :P ) but nada on how to wire the phone RJ11 jacks.

I'm using a single pair of wires (blue/blue white) which I would tie to the Red and green on a normal phone jack - Do I do the same on the keystone jack? I'm going to try this tomorrow and see what happens...

Anyone have any experience with these buggers or a good URL you can point me to?

i don't know if i'm to late or not and i haven't read the links by the other guys to know what they say but when it comes to rj11 or phone wiring as long as it is exactly the same wiring layout on both ends(ex. red is on the left) it will work and then the patch cords do reverse (ex. one end the red is on right, the other end red is on left.) good luck. it is very simple stuff to get right when it comes to phone lines.

Well, I tried using the green/red on the keystone jack with my blue/blue-white pair and all is well. I've done tons of electrical work but when I have to hook up those tiny wires I guess my mind just goes blank.
