    event viewer application log

While poking around my 'puter I found the following in my event viewer application log...what is this? When it appears it is listed many many times in a row at same time. Like 20+ times!

    plugplaymanager event id 256

timed out sending notification of device interface change to window of '"'

What is it and how do i fix it?

ummm, why mess with it if its not doing anything bad? Theres a bunch of stuff in my app Log, but I never bother going thru it (bad idea?). Unless theres a problem, then its a useful little feature, well to those who can understand them atleast.

Ummm, just trying to get the best from my equipment. I figure if it was fine there wouldn't be a warning associated with it.
