    Post Windows 95 on a SX mb?

    Howdy.

    Simple question: Will Windows 95 run on a 486 SX system? Or is a DX required? I seem to recall that 95 will but 98 requires a DX...

    Yes it will, Windows itself doesn't need a mathco. It will run, albeit very slowly. I ran Win95 on an IBM 486SL laptop. It was so slow that I loaded Win3.1 on it instead.
