Upgrading Toshiba 470CDT Laptop
I'm trying to upgrade my slow Toshiba 470CDT Intel Pentium 200MHZ Processor
64 MB Ram 2Gig HDD into a faster machine and be able to run windows XP.
What compatible parts do i need to upgrade?

Welcome to windrivers moab. Sorry, but cant be done. The motherboard will not support a faster processor and the maximum memory is 160MB. You're asking an awful lot for 7 year old technology.

The Toshiba 470CDT being a laptop contains propriotory pieces of equipment and a replacement board even if they still made them, would only support the same hardware.Even on newer laptops the motherboard being a major part of the unit is one of the dearest parts apart from the screen which would equate to nearly the whole cost of purchasing a new laptop altogether.
