    Post Win 98 Backup

    Can anyone tell me why the `append` button in `options` in Backup is `greyed-out`. I cannot use it and I wish to place subsequent backups after the previous one. I have tried backing to both Floppy and Zip drives.

    I think that you have to create another backup and then you will have the option of "Overwrite" (which will replace the old backup with the new backup) or "Append" (which will add the current backup without replacing previous backups) Try backup with a small file and then create another backup of another small file and see if your Append button is still greyed out.

    Can't append to anything but a tape drive with ms backup.
