    Question Debugging...

This really isn't a "help me" kind of topic, more ... "how do i"..kind of thing.

I have been testing (alpha and beta) programs for a little over a year now. But its mostly as the "end user" orientation. I am curious if there are any realtively simple tools/utils out there that would aid in the troubleshooting and testing period.

In that I mean, while perhaps running a test program ... is there something I can run that logs what it is accessing on my system? Or something to that effect.

I am not a programmer, although I know that my ideas and notes have been incorporated in some programs out there (isn't there a job like this? hah).

Any seriouis advice is appreciated. Mery Ho Ho to all.

try open trap...it's a great prog for dll monitoring, not to mention showing dependencies. i guess you can get it at ftp.zdnet.com/pcmag/1997/0701/opentr.zip. have fun!
