Firewire header cable
I just changed from the Soyo KT600 board & Athlon barton 2600+ to a Soyo KT880 board Athlon Barton 3200+ with a total of 2 gig of ram (up from 1 gig). The problem is that the new KT880 board doent have a firewire port on the back panel as does the KT600. I have searched a number of places including Directron and Newegg. What I need is a short cable with a 2x5 pin header plug to go to the mother board socket and a 6 pin firewire socket in a slot filler plate. I hope this is clear enough. i just need to get from the motherboard header to the rear of the computer. I find many devices to connect it to the front of the box, but I really would like to have the connector at the back of the computer, as I have a Digital Video DAC-100 audio/video port always connected to the computer for converting old video tapes to DVD's The DAC-100 is very good, by the way, though it includes no software. Nero Vision Express gets the job done very well. Sorry for my verbosity. I shure would like to find such a device.
Thanks
Jim
