Compressing Digital Photos For Emailing
I have been using a software, ZoomBrowser, that came with my digital Canon Power Shot camera to compress photos and attach to my emails. I have saved these many photos to CD's rather than my hard drive since my collection is becoming larger. Due to the large number of photos that are being managed by ZoomBrowser, it tends to become corrupted and freezes. The software then has to be uninstalled and reinstalled and all the photos moved from my CDs back to the program.... a process that requires some time.
Can you recommend a good software that would solve my problem of compressing photos to attach for emailing. I already have the photos in folders and named on my CDs and only need a way to compress before attaching. I am running Windows Me

IrfanView can do it. Also this resizing tool from Microsoft can do it. However I am not sure that it works on ME. But try it.
