[RESOLVED] networking
How can I connect a pc running win98se to a pc running win95 on a ethernet network using ISA network cards? They were ok until I installed win98se on one machine, now they do not see each other.

Install IPX and/or NetBEUI protocol on Win98SE PC.
By default Win98SE uses only TCP/IP protocol.
Check sharing box.

My PC auto detects a card, as an NE2000 compatible, but after restarting, it tells me that the card is missing, has wrong drivers etc. It can't be either, as the drivers were automatically sorted out. Help!!

Check your TCP/IP properties. Often after an upgrade the properties of TCP/IP are lost and must be manually re-entered.
