"At least one service or driver failed..."
I cannot kill this infuriating message that appears on computer startup. This relates to Event 7000 or 3524, and is to do with EPSON file name EPLPDX01.dll. I have uninstalled the EPSON (C1000), and re-installed, but with no success...

Something is calling that file. What OS is this?
For Windows versions, look at the registry - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run and see if it is referenced there.
Was this a printer? Is the printer deleted?
Have you looked at the contents of the start-up folder?

Hi Hugh,
You may want to read up on this same problem in our Epson Company Forum:
http://forums.windrivers.com/vb/showthread.php?t=30865
Basically, they say to Uninstall and then Reinstall with the latest drivers from Epson.

Let us know how it all ends up. Good Luck!

Thanks Don, I have tried all the recommendations (Uninstalled until I am blue in the face), but the pop-up error just won't go away. I'll have to keep working at it...
