Another PC with no sound after system recovery
I appear to have the same problem as many other people here; I installed a new hard drive this afternoon and after reloading windows xp using the system recovery disc I have no sound. Apparently my system is as follows:
Operating System
Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 1 (build 2600)
System Model
TriGem Computer NETHERLANDS Dream Sys Ver1.0
Enclosure Type: Desktop
Main Circuit Board b
Board: TriGem Computer NETHERLANDS Advent Series Ver1.0
Bus Clock: 200 megahertz
BIOS: Phoenix Technologies, LTD 6.00 PG 08/18/2003
Please help?

Utility
Unfortunately that tells us very little about your system. This utility should help you detect your devices and you can even create a report in HTML format that you can attach. Or you may get lucky and the program will provide links to your hardware.

Is this what you need? Forgive me for being rather dumb on this issue...still uncertain as to the way forward!
