[RESOLVED] info imagereader epp & w98

i have an intel pentium 233,i was able to use my scanner under win 95 and i upgraded to 98. now my computer will not recognize the scanner at all. i found the info website and the phone# are no good. i have tried new cables, changing the printer port. help

I have found this problem frequently with epp scanners. First remove the printer port in the device manager, and then uninstall the scanner software and drivers. Reboot the machine with no scanner. Then restart again, go intothe bios and setup make sure that under integrated peripherals you have epp/spp listed for the lpt port. If that choice is not available use the default. Check for the new Epp interface driver ..reinstall the scanner. I know this has happened when using scanport scanners! Good luck.
