    Exclamation Microsoft Money 2005

I have had to recently re-install Microsoft Money 2005 back on to my desk top, I use Net Passport to login to my money but ever time I attempt to login I get the following error message

' Your sign-in information could not be verified. Go online or work offline check box, and then re-enter your sign-in information.'

I have reset my password but to a different one and that has not worked either.

Please could you splendid people out there advise me on how to put the problem to rights, as I have contacted Microsoft for advice but I am not going to pay them $35.00 for a one off contact to put the problem right.

    Terry.

OK, the first question would be, where you online when you signed in? Did you try working off line?

    did you read this?

I currently use Windows XP Home, and the answer to your question is that I was on line to login to money.

And the link that you have sent does that apply to Windows XP and vista.

I have as of yet tried the other fixes that have been listed as of yet but when I turn off the phishing filter off I can log in to my money.

That is not my concern at this moment each time I change my default home page it reverts back to a MSN page and it is driving me crazy.

    Any ideas guys and gals.

Yep... it's about what search provider you have... change that and the problem goes away...

This going to be a silly question as I like Google, so if I was to change the search engine which one would you recommend.

Did you opt to change your default home page?
Change it back to google and make sure you select UK english and set the home page as well... don't just click apply!

I have tried that and it did not work

I have done everything in the book to set My home page to

    http://www.tribeworld.com/.

    Click tools then Internet Options

The the open box click on "Use Current" and then apply.

Close Internet Explore. Count 20 and re-open Internet Explore but it just returns to the following page. http://uk.msn.com/

Or have I missed something out. I have also tried turning of the phishing filter off, but that made no difference.
